Going punch for punch, Superman finally ends the threat of Doomsday as he throws one last punch and collapses forever. Battling their way throughout America, the two fight to a standstill as they reach the heart of Metropolis. But it soon becomes apparent that only Superman can stand against the monstrosity that has been nicknamed Doomsday. Here’s the synopsis that was provided: When a hulking monster emerges from an underground resting place and begins a mindless rampage, the Justice League is quickly called in to stop the colossal force of nature. It also offers some footage that might impress you. To give us a better idea of what this new animated adaptation will entail, the studio released this featurette that gives us some insight from the creative team and some of the key cast members.
There will be some differences from the comic but this will still stay much closer to the tone and storyline. previously attempted to adapt this storyline with Superman: Doomsday, but it looks like this one is going to be a lot better.
The first film will be called The Death of Superman and the second film will be called Reign of the Superman. This is one of DC Comic’s most popular storylines and to make sure they tell the story properly this time, they have split the story up into two full-length films. Animation has released a video giving us our first look at footage of their latest DC animated film project The Death of Superman.
